Data brokers

Removed at the source — not just off your call list

Blocking a number stops one call. Removing the data at the broker reduces how many numbers call at all. MarketMute traces where the data came from, requests removal, and follows up with evidence.

How you end up on the lists

Source
Forms, purchases, registries

Lead list
Resold

Calls and mailings

The data is copied forward at every step. That's why calls continue even after you've blocked the sender — the next buyer of the list still has it.

How a case runs

How a case runs with a broker

Trace the source
We find which brokers actually hold the data, and what kind it is — number, address, or an enriched profile.
Outcome: A per-broker hit list
Draft the request
The right request is chosen for you: deletion, objection to marketing, or restriction. You don't need to know which one applies.
Outcome: Request ready for your approval
Deliver with evidence
The request is sent to the broker's designated recipient. Delivery is timestamped and stored as evidence in your case.
Outcome: Delivery evidence filed
Follow up on the reply
A missing or incomplete reply is followed up. The case stays open until the broker confirms the action or the follow-up runs its course.
Outcome: Confirmation or escalation

No reply

The case doesn't close quietly

If the broker doesn't reply within its deadline, we send a reminder, document the silence, and prepare the file in case you want to escalate to a supervisory authority.
That step is never taken without your explicit approval.

Deviation

If the data reappears

Brokers buy in fresh data.
If data reappears after a confirmed deletion, it's logged as a deviation with date and source, and the case reopens against the same recipient.
